TB – 500 PEPTIDE – THYMOSIN BETA 4
What is TB-500?
TB-500 is a synthetic peptide of the naturally occurring healing protein present in about all human and mammalian cells known as Thymosin Beta 4 (TB4). TB 500 is thought to have beneficial effects on wound healing, injury recovery, flexibility, and inflammation. Research indicated the effects of TB 500 are on blood cell and blood vessel development, cellular differentiation, and cell migration. The healing capability is due in large to the peptide’s regulation of actin, a cell-building protein essential to healing and wound repair.
TB 500 is produced in the thymus gland and is found in high concentrations in wound fluids. Research demonstrates it has wound-healing properties in addition to healing and repair of skin, cornea, and heart.
TB 500 is a naturally occurring peptide also found in high concentrations in blood platelets. TB-500 peptides for research are not growth factors; but rather major actin-regulating protein peptides. TB 500 plays an important role in the protection, regeneration, and remodeling of injured and/or damaged tissues. The gene that codes for Thymosin Beta-4 was noted in a study to be one of the first to be stimulated after an incident of injury.
Present in almost all human and animal cells, Thymosin Beta 4 is a naturally occurring wound-healing peptide. TB 500, is a synthetically made version of TB4 that facilitates comparable healing and recovery by helping build new blood vessels, muscle tissue fibers, and blood cells, and facilitating cell migration. For a stressed and injured person, TB 500 can offer extremely desirable wound-healing effects.
Important information: unlike BPC-157, TB-500 is absolute, 100% banned by WADA and most other global sporting organizations both in-competition and out-of-competition. You should NOT use this if you are competing in any such sanctioned sport as it definitely falls under the banned category of “Peptide Hormones, Growth Factors, Related Substances and Mimetics (S2)”.
TB-500 Background Information
As stated previously, TB-500 is a synthetic version of Thymosin Beta 4, a protein peptide that occurs naturally in the bodies of both animals and humans. Although TB-500 is available for research purposes, it is commonly used by many veterinarians who conduct clinical trials using TB-500 on horses. It is used to help promote healing from injury and reduce recovery time. Studies on horses with thymosin began in the 1960s. Dr. Allan Goldstein formulated thymosin alpha 1, in order to increase immune cell activity and subsequently thymosin beta 4 or TB-500, in order to accelerate healing and wound repair.
In horse racing TB 500 as shown a significant reduction of inflammation and the inhibition or
reduction of adhesions from injury. The human use of thymosin began in 1974, with the first reported case being a young girl who was injected with thymosin due to a nonfunctioning thymus gland. Since then, an increasing number of athletes and biohackers have been using thymosin all for the very same reasons of repair, reduction of inflammation and to speed up recovery.
TB-500 Background Information
TB 500 aids in recovery by increasing actin. By up-regulating this cellular protein, TB 500 is able to boost actin’s positive effects. Actin helps to promote cell migration and proliferation. As a result, new blood vessels form and inflammation can be regulated so that healing and recovery are optimized. In addition, TB 500 can travel a long distance in the body because of its unique molecular structure. Therefore systemic effects occur to help both local and distant sites of injury including reduced inflammation and optimizing flexibility. A noted benefit vs side effect is the
regrowing and darkening of hair.
What are the benefits of TB-500?
- Enhanced Recovery
- Reduced Inflammation
- Improved Flexibility
- Aid Recovery of Slow Healing Injuries such as those to connective tissue, i.e. tendons and ligaments
- Boost Muscle injuries recovery
- Promote healing of skin injuries
